The International Commerce Centre (ICC), managed by Sun Hung Kai’s Kai Shing property management services, won the Gold Award in the “Property Management (Commercial and Industrial)” category at the “Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence 2023.” This marks the second time International Commerce Centre (ICC) has received a gold award, having previously won in 2013, making it the only property in Hong Kong to achieve this distinction twice.
As the tallest building in Hong Kong, ICC’s management team is actively introducing various innovative technologies to achieve its carbon neutrality goals. In 2023, ICC’s overall electricity consumption decreased by over 20 million kilowatt-hours compared to 2012, which is equivalent to saving 14,000 tons of carbon emissions.
ICC has also employed Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Inspekly’s Digital Twin technology to enhance daily operations and optimize energy efficiency. Currently, many routine tasks are carried out with the assistance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Inspekly’s Augmented Reality Maintenance Management (ARMM) technologies. By continuously collecting and analyzing big data, ICC adopts various energy-saving strategies to address real-world situations and continually improve the overall performance of the property.
